For the reception floor, not a vendor directory

Wedding Seating Chart Maker

A wedding seating chart you can finish before you pay. This seating chart maker imports the guest list, lets you place round, rectangle, and long tables, and seats people by hand or with auto-seat. Start free in the browser. $29 unlocks the print files and a seat-finder link for that one chart.

How it works

Import the list

CSV, Excel, or a paste. Map columns for name, party or group, plus-one, meal, and an accessibility note. A chart holds 500 guests. You can start in the browser and sign in with a magic link when you want the chart on another device, or before you pay.

Three table shapes

Round, rectangle, and long tables, each with a seat count you set. Move them on the floor plan. On a computer, drag a guest onto a seat. On a phone, tap the guest, then tap the seat. Couples often do this on a phone, so that path is the mobile layout, not a shrunk desktop page.

Rules, then a check

Mark people who should sit together or apart. Auto-seat fills the rest and lists anyone it could not place. Before you export, a conflict check flags unassigned guests, overfull tables, parties that landed on different tables, and broken keep-apart rules. Export still works; the warnings stay on screen.

Guides for the chart, the sign, and the cards

The $29 export

One payment, one chart. The files are rendered on the server from the chart you built.

Poster PDF

24×36 in, 18×24 in, and A2. Vector text, embedded fonts, two original templates. Not a screenshot of the builder.

Cards

Escort cards and place cards on a plain printable sheet with crop marks. Cut them yourself. We don't claim a label product.

Caterer sheet and seat-finder

A spreadsheet with table, seat, guest, meal, and accessibility note, plus a per-table meal count. A private page where a guest types a few letters and sees up to five matching names and their table. Download the QR as PNG or SVG. Turn the page off whenever you want.

How this compares

Zola

Zola keeps seating inside a planning suite that also runs a wedding website and registry. If the guest list already lives there, one login is convenient. This product is only the chart, the print files, and a seat-finder.

The Knot

The Knot is a planning site and a marketplace for hiring vendors. Seating is one tool in that larger product. We don't list vendors and we don't get paid when you book one.

WeddingWire

WeddingWire is the same kind of vendor marketplace. Useful if you are still choosing a photographer or a band. It is a poor fit if the only open job is the seating chart and the files for the printer and the caterer.
